At the same time though, Lance is dedicated to using weapons against their enemies while Walter wants to use his creative gadgets just to maim them, not causing lasting harm. Walter finally concocts an antidote that will make Lance human again because he realizes hes actually a female bird because of Loveys feathers and needs to switch one variable to put things back to normal. Shortly after, Lance becomes human again but decides to finish the mission alone so that Walter wont be in any more danger. Will Lance finish his mission? What will happen with Walter and Marcy? SPIES IN DISGUISE has clever, witty dialogue and some exciting, comical action. Will Smith and Tom Holland make for a dynamic duo, and older audiences will enjoy hearing country star Reba McIntires voice as the head of the secret agents. SPIES IN DISGUISE shows a strong moral worldview with an emphasis on helping and sacrificing for others. However, the movie maintains a politically correct, somewhat pacifist tone when it comes to fighting evil with weapons. The protagonist asserts that “evil doesnt care if youre nice” while the supporting character believes that, by not using deadly force, people can come together, solve problems and fight evil without any harm being done. Tajni i fajni dafuq. I liked Spies in Disguise on the same level as Hotel Transylvania. Its got fast, colorful animation with a touch of heart. I was quite surprised how decently funny it was, too. When Will Smith's character turned into a pigeon, I was sure the film would nosedive with groan-worthy comedy, but there was an ample amount of satisfying visual gags to go along with it. The spins on spy genre films were fairly clever, too, all the way down to the stylish opening credits. This is probably the most effort I've seen Blue Sky put into a film. I was charmed and entertained through a majority of it. The characters do come straight out of an assembly line with backstories and ideologies that have been explored too many times to count. The villain is especially forgettable. The film's touches on the typical messages regarding "teamwork" and "good vs. evil" but nothing that resonates uniquely. It's more a treat for eyes, but sometimes that's okay.

But when events take an unexpected turn, Walter and Lance suddenly have to rely on each other in a whole new way. And if this odd couple can't learn to work as a team, the whole world is in peril.
